Rob Geesing

After Sales Manager
Based at HARSH’s HQ at Full Sutton near York, Rob will have overall responsibility to further develop and deliver all aspects of the company’s Parts and customer Service activities.
Rob began his career at HARSH as a fitter in the workshop before leaving to take up a Parts role with a multinational car manufacturer. He rejoined HARSH 5 years ago, firstly in sales as a Business Development Manager, then with the specific task of building up a ‘best in class’ Parts operation covering tippers, skiploaders and hookloaders. Rob’s new role therefore builds upon his proven success in achieving that objective.
Rob says “We are always conscious of the fact that what operators need more than ever is effective and efficient after sales support. Today’s trucks are working harder than ever, so we have to be able to deliver what they need, when and where they need it. What counts is how HARSH responds, whether it’s a call for VOR Parts, on-site service, workshop repairs or routine maintenance.
The fact is that customers already like what we do, so as our overall business grows the opportunities for further developing HARSH’s aftermarket business become even greater. In particular, our R&M Service Contracts are proving increasingly popular with operators thanks to their ability to provide for easily planned, minimal downtime as well as fixed cost budgeting.”
